Educators are important partners in Altitude. Together we identify students who would benefit from the program. We also provide experiences in high schools to inspire and to promote careers in healthcare.

High School Educators

The transition to university can be difficult. If you have students interested in a career in healthcare help them succeed by referring them to the Altitude program. Your referral will ensure that they are supported as they begin their post secondary career and learn from the experiences of a trained mentor.

Educators are encouraged to promote Altitude within their schools and help identify those students that might benefit from this program. Have your student complete the Mentee Application. That’s it! The student will be contacted for a phone interview during the month of July and successful applicants will be notified of their acceptance to the Altitude program in early August. Promotional tools can be requested at

More information on eligibility and the referral process see our Referral Guide (Not updated).
